Spectacular Panoramic view of the Beautiful lower Manhattan Skyline from atop the Brooklyn Bridge 1988. One of our best selling images. This image was in the NY mayor's office when David Dinkins was mayor 1990-93. This image was taken from atop the Brooklyn Bridge in the 1988 using a #10 Cirkut camera. The camera is an antique, rotating camera that exposes a negative 10 inches tall and 6 feet long! Contact photo prints were then made by putting unexposed photographic paper in direct contact with the negative. The negative goes on top of the paper and color corrected lighted is then used to expose the paper. This process all took place in complete darkness because it is color paper and no safe light existed for the process. It was a very painstaking process and meticulous process.
