The crowd at "Paint the Hall Orange", December 1, 2004, saw the Fighting Illini shoot their way to a 91 - 73 victory against the #1 ranked Wake Forest. This photo shows the opening tip of one of the most exciting games ever played at the Assembly Hall. After beating Wake Forest, the Illini went on to be the #1 ranked team up until the day they lost in the Championship game of the NCAA tournament. SP_CBB_011
