Village Scene Panoramic.
This was a re-creation photo. We wanted to recreate a Zulu lifestyle for South African Airlines. We got this job from South African Airlines who sent us all over Africa and Europe to promote the usage of their airlines to those specific destinations. We were hired by Red Nail, the South African wing of Leo Burnett, the second largest ad agency in the world. The Zulu heritage village, where this photo takes place, has been preserved for tourists to visit. The huts in the picture are all made from woven sticks found around the village, and the largest is called the granny hut which is where the Zulu chief lives or where rituals take place.
This photograph is 9.5 inches tall by 75 inches long. CS_AFR_001.
