Modern Woodsmen Panorama, Decatur, Illinois.
Modern Woodsmen of America panorama shot September 7, 1913 in Decatur Illinois in front of a pool hall that no longer exists. The photo says that is was shot by Wasson Studios, 351 N. Water Street, Decatur, Photographers Extraordinary! Awesome detail in this old #10 Cirkut image. Details like the wall painting ad that says: "Uneeda Biscuit 5¢" This restoration took more than 20 hours, but it is an amazing photo. It has many interesting/fascinating details like the newspaper boy in the left end of the image or the guys in the pool hall watching the picture taking unfold. I am nearly certain that the photographer included himself in the photo on the right end. He is the only person who does not have an ax or a sword! Very old and small Ford dealership on the right end of the photo too. Image is 9.5 inches tall by 48 inches long. Available in sepia or black and white. Framing is available, please call for information. We are researching the historical significance of this image; should anyone have any insight or information regarding this image, please give us a call. GR_OTG_041
